The bench will eventually be placed in the churchyard

This beautiful oak bench has been made to commemorate the tireless work of Charles and Joscelyn Johnson here at Lavington Park.

This memorial has been donated by some generous Old Seafordians. Harry Godman-Dorington (03-08) both designed and made the bench, while Jeremy Scott (01-05) completed the engraving.

Karen Grantham Smith, photography teacher, helped with the design along with the chapel outline drawn by Charles and Joscelyn’s grandson, James (90-95).

The final resting place for this magnificent bench will be up in the churchyard, looking out towards the hockey pitch.
