It was echoes of the past for Michael Laird (Seaford 2010-15) when he was photographed shaking Seaford College Headmaster John Green’s hand at the recent ‘Seaford on Tour’ alumni event in London.

In 2014, Michael appeared in our social media posts shaking the Headmaster’s hand before heading to City University, London to read International Political Economy.

The 2014 post stated: “Michael excelled during his time at Seaford and successfully ran the Young Enterprise Scheme for Seaford in 2014. He learnt a lot about how to set up, run and promote a company during this time which will be invaluable experience in the future.”

And indeed it was! Ten years on, he is working in growth strategy and innovation within one of WPP’s portfolio companies VML, leading enterprise reinvention projects.
