A message from Matt Williams, Headmaster of Seaford College:

"It is with great sadness that I am writing to inform you that Dr Nick Street, Head of Chemistry, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in August.

I know that many of you will be shocked and deeply saddened by this news.

Although I did not have the opportunity to know Nick personally, it is clear from speaking to colleagues and members of the Seaford community just how highly regarded he was. Nick was a much-valued colleague, inspirational teacher and friend to so many, and I know that his passing will be felt profoundly across the College and our alumni community.

On behalf of the entire Seaford community, we have conveyed our heartfelt condolences to Brenda and all of Nick’s family at this incredibly difficult time.

We are holding a Service of Remembrance on Monday 14 September at 6.30pm in St Peter’s Chapel, Seaford College, for staff, students, parents and alumni.

Our thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathies are with Brenda and all of Nick’s family."
