Seaford Alumni Charity Golf Day

Invite to Cowdray Golf Club
Invite to Cowdray Golf Club

We’d like to invite you to take part in the inaugural Seaford Alumni Charity Golf Day on Friday 3rd October 2025 at the wonderful Cowdray Golf Club near Midhurst in West Sussex.

The event is for Old Seafordians and will help to raise money for the Chaplain's Benevolent Fund which gifts small grants to Seaford students and alumni whose families may be struggling financially. The fund is administered by committee, overseen and led by the Chaplain, who sees that the monies are distributed fairly and to people in need. Many such grants have been awarded over recent years to those who cannot afford such things as school trips, equipment, sports kit and uniform, transport costs, books, and seeing the school counsellor.

This exciting new event in the alumni calendar is also a great chance to play golf and socialise at one of the most beautiful courses in the country, overlooking the South Downs.

The day will start with refreshments in the Cowdray Clubhouse from 8.30am followed by a round of golf in groups of four. After the round, there will be an awards buffet, with prizes sponsored by the fabulous winemaker Maison Mirabeau.

To take part, we’re asking for a £25 donation for the Chaplain's Benevolent Fund. To book your place, please email alumni@seaford.org (adding ‘Golf Day’ booking to the subject field) and make the £25 donation using the following bank details, and the ref: ‘AGD + YOUR NAME’
