Retirements from Seaford

Diana Strange and Tim Gregory retire after decades of service
Tim and Diana will be sorely missed
Tim and Diana will be sorely missed

A statement from John Green, Headmaster of Seaford College:

I would like to inform the Old Seafordians of two long-serving staff who shall be leaving Seaford after many years of distinguished service and loyalty to Seaford.

Diana Strange started at Seaford in January 2005 and was an inspirational Head of Year as well as an outstanding and talented sports coach across all three terms. Over the past 12 years or so, Diana was, of course, the catalyst and instigator behind our unique wellbeing and pastoral centre – the Pink House. She has helped and supported generations of Seaford students and parents over so many years. Diana has, without doubt, made such an immense and positive impact at Seaford and shall be sorely missed by us all. I know so many members of the Seaford community have benefitted from the guidance, wisdom and counsel from Diana. On this note, Diana is very happy to share her private email address (Dianabardrick@gmail.com) in case Old Seafordians wish to contact her in the future for any reason following her formal retirement from the Seaford community.

So many of our alumni will also remember the one and only Tim Gregory, who has served the Seaford community for an amazing 40 years. Tim joined Seaford back in 1983 and has been an inspirational figurehead to so many staff and students during his tenure. He has held many important positions at the College over the years, including Housemaster, Head of Sixth Form, Head of Politics, Head of Cricket and Head of the RAF Section of our CCF contingent. It is quite an incredible portfolio of important positions. Over recent years, Tim has, of course, been an integral part of our Pink House and Safeguarding Team, making such a positive impact throughout the Seaford community. Tim is happy to share his private email address (tw_gregory@yahoo.com) for any former student who may wish to contact him following his retirement from Seaford.

Huge congratulations and my sincere thanks to Tim and Diana for their immense contribution to the College. You shall be both sorely missed.
